About the job Chef Barbecue

We are seeking a skilled and passionate "Chef Barbecue" to join a Lebanese restaurant specializing in Lebanese cuisine and pastries. The Chef Barbecue shall be responsible for leading the Barbecue section, overseeing the preparation, marination, grilling, and presentation of delicious Lebanese barbecue dishes. 

The ideal candidate should have expertise in Lebanese cuisine, particularly in barbecue techniques, and possess a strong culinary background.

Chef Barbecue Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Barbecue section, including preparing, marinating, grilling, and presenting Lebanese barbecue dishes.
  • Developing and refining recipes for barbecue marinades, seasonings, and sauces to enhance the flavors of grilled meats and vegetables.
  • Managing the Barbecue cooking team, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Ensuring the highest quality standards for taste, texture, and presentation of barbecue dishes.
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef to create new barbecue variations, incorporating innovative flavors and ingredients.
  • Monitoring inventory levels of barbecue ingredients, placing orders, and managing stock control to minimize wastage.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized Barbecue section, adhering to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Staying updated on culinary trends, techniques, and innovations in Lebanese cuisine, particularly in barbecue preparation.

Chef Barbecue Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef Barbecue or in a similar role.
  • Culinary degree or relevant training is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Lebanese cuisine is a plus.
  • Creativity in developing new barbecue marinades, dishes, seasonings, and sauces.
  • Creativity in developing new barbecue dishes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
