Summary:

Caliente Interactive is a leading online casino and sports betting company with a dynamic and rapidly growing global presence. We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of HR to lead and develop our HR department and contribute to building a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive workforce. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and HR compliance within the online gaming industry. Experience in international HR and opening businesses abroad is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategy:
    • Develop and implement the overall HR strategy for Caliente Interactive, aligning HR initiatives with the company's business objectives.
    • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the HR team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
    • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in HR, adapting strategies and policies as needed, specifically within the online casino and sports betting landscape.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management:
    • Lead the full cycle of talent acquisition, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top talent.
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates with experience in the online gaming industry.
    • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth and positive experience for new hires.
    • Implement programs for employee development, performance management, and career progression.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
    • Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
    • Analyze market trends and benchmark compensation to ensure competitiveness within the online casino and sports betting sector.
  • Employee Engagement and Culture:
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement, collaboration, and well-being.
    • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale, satisfaction, and retention.
    • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives to create a welcoming and supportive workplace.
  • Organizational Development:
    • Lead organizational development initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and employee satisfaction.
    • Analyze organizational structure, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance workflows and communication.
    • Support change management initiatives and ensure smooth transitions during periods of growth or transformation.
  • HR Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, with specific attention to those relevant to the online gaming industry.
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
    • Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed.
    • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the online casino and sports betting industry.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives in a dynamic and rapidly evolving market.
  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and HR compliance.
  • Experience in international HR and opening businesses abroad is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
