Top Gun Staffing Group LLC has partnered with an employee benefits TPA (third-party administrator) to identify an Account Executive to join their team in Exeter, NH on a permanent, direct-hire basis!
The Account Executives primary responsibility is to build and maintain lasting relationships with self-funded medical, dental and ancillary benefit client groups. As an Account Executive, you'll be your client's primary resource and SME on all group life, health, dental and vision products available.
Reporting to the Director of Client Services, the ideal candidate will have a solid health benefit background, innovative ideas and an excitement for providing top notch assistance to companies nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Retain and expand existing client relationships and have oversight responsibilities for the implementation of new clients.
- Ensure that the client's needs are met and/or expectations are exceeded in all avenues of service, from inception during the on-boarding process to implementation and post-installation resolution.
- Identify key stakeholders and determine the suite of services that best meet the client's needs.
- Educate clients on various elements of benefit plan information and available services designed to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Be available to clients and act with diligence to provide benefit coverage interpretations and plan eligibility information.
- Collaborate cross departmentally with internal resources to originate and deliver client presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with a focus on satisfying customer expectations.
- Be cognizant of the sensitive and impactful nature of the topics being discussed with clients and act with the utmost confidentiality.
- Escalate client concerns and utilize internal resources and systems for grievances and appeals.
- Identify emerging trends and provide input that drives positive growth and financial results.
- Coordinate and communicate client outreach with various account partners.
- Attend and effectively update management on client block at required staff meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent related experience.
- 1+ years' experience in health benefits, insurance or brokerage space.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- A knack for negotiation with financial savvy used to build out a book of business.
- Ability to work independently and manage cross-functionally.
- Experience managing complex client relationships.
- Intermediate level of knowledge in Microsoft office suite preferred.
Hours:
- Monday Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM Onsite
Travel:
- 25% throughout MA, ME & NH
Base Salary Range:
- $60,000 - $70,000/year
