Top Gun Staffing Group LLC is excited to announce their partnership with a well-known industrial manufacturer in Portsmouth, NH. We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to join their team on a direct hire basis.
The Program Manager drives projects from conception to delivery, meeting or exceeding internal and external customer requirements. The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing budgets, schedules, team coordination, and clear communication of progress. The Program Manager handles a mixture of R&D and New Product Development (NPD) projects while simultaneously providing team direction and focus.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the implementation of specific customer contracts involving complex systems and/or government contracts.
- Plans, directs, controls and coordinates financial and engineering activities for the program(s), and for achieving financial and technical objectives.
- Organizes interdepartmental activities within a matrix organization, ensuring completion of the program on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Define operational direction and institute remedial action(s) to satisfy customer requirements while achieving project specific sales targets/goals; gross margin targets; percent delivery on-time; bookings targets/goals; and customer satisfaction.
- Monitors program from project initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical matters.
- Assess status and risk, generate recovery plans and meet customer expectations and business objectives.
- Support new business proposals.
- Interacts with functional peer groups regarding exchange or presentation of information.
- Confers with department supervisors or leads to determine status of assigned projects.
- Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, outside customers, and functional peer groups at various management levels. Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific project/schedules.
- Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions and/or customers.
- Manages the activities of two or more Programs, exercising supervision in terms of costs, methods and employees.
Qualifications:
- BS in an engineering or related technical field with 10+ years of directly related Program Management experience.
- Master's Degree (MS/MBA) preferred.
- PMI certification or equivalent preferred.
Hours:
- Monday Friday, 8AM - 5PM
Salary / Benefits:
- $120,000 - $130,000/year + annual bonus potential and generous benefits package
