Requirements (unless you convince us otherwise)

  1. Familiarity with standard quantitative research methods and processes
  2. Experience in an agency setting
  3. Must have knowledge of a survey platform like Pollfish, Prolific, mTurk, or similar
  4. Some knowledge of internet marketing, SEO, or public relations
  5. Google analytics, search console, data studio, tableau, data wrapper, infogram, excel, power BI
  6. Holistic approach to data-led storytelling
  7. Excellent Google Docs and Microsoft Office skills, especially Sheets (Excel) and Slides (PowerPoint)
  8. Attention to detail with the ability to self-review work
  9. Resourceful with a high level of initiative
  10. Data visualization capabilities
  11. A bachelor's degree in marketing, social sciences, or a related field, with an emphasis on statistics or research methods being advantageous
  12. Demonstrated experience of 1-3 years in a relevant work or internship role, preferably from the agency, client, or vendor perspective
  13. Exposure to a range of research methodologies, including communications, creative and copy development, execution, and effectiveness, brand positioning/strategy, segmentation, as well as quantitative research utilizing surveys and various tools, both in-person and online
  14. Familiarity with conventional quantitative research methods and operational processes
  15. Proficiency in Google Docs and Microsoft Office, particularly in Sheets (Excel)
  16. Strong capabilities in quantitative analysis, numeric understanding, problem-solving, and critical thinking
  17. Resourcefulness and a proactive approach with a high degree of initiative
  18. Ability to manage two to five projects simultaneously
  19. Aptitude for contributing to brainstorming sessions and collaborating with technical and creative teams.

Duties:

  • Utilize google analytics to
    • Understand referral traffic
    • See high traffic pages
    • Determine and discover user intent
    • Analyze on-page search terms
  • Utilize survey platform:
    • Must be able to write survey questions
    • Program survey into platform
    • Analyze results
    • Provide recommendations on the survey analysis or data analysis overall
    • Pull insights to share with PR team and client
    • Write report outline and possibly report
  • Enjoy numbers, statistics, and quantitative research. Be able to think clearly through a problem, and work through it systematically.
  • Possess a knowledge of data analysis tools to an advanced level including Google Sheets, Excel, survey platforms like Prolific or Pollfish, Tableau, Data Miner, and other analytical tools.
  • Be able to present data in an understandable way, share it and explain the methodology as well as logic to the rest of the team and potentially clients.
  • Connect data sources and strategies to build a complete, strategic picture of a methodology for a data led report.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including PR, content, or analytics.
