About the job Head of Business Development - Stablecoin Issuer

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute the go-to client and partnership strategy for the firm
  • Identify partnerships with financial institutions, corporates, fintech and payment companies to promote its stablecoin adoption
  • Onboard Web3 protocols to enlarge the stablecoin ecosystem and increase the stablecoin transaction volume
  • Form partnership with crypto exchanges on stablecoin listing and with Layer 1 blockchains for cross-chain interoperability
  • Represent the company in various Hong Kong, regional Web3 associations and attend, speak in conferences and industry events
  • Discover clients needs and offer solutions and coordinate with the onboarding and operations teams
  • Compile and present business proposal and pitching material for existing and potential clients
  • Negotiate and finalise with potential clients on commercial terms
  • Follow industry trends and market updates, conduct necessary market research, identify and develop business opportunities globally

Requirements:

  • Candidate ideally be located in Hong Kong
  • 3 years relevant experience in B2B crypto companies and with sales and business development experience
  • Existing network with financial institutions, payment companies, Web3 protocols, crypto exchanges and L1 network would be a plus
  • Strong interest in technology innovation and willingness to learn
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritise
  • Able to take lead and work independently
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Mandarin. Proficiency in Cantonese be a nice to have
  • Well presented, self-motivated, organised and accountable
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, marketing, business administration or equivalent
