Job Description:
The Senior Medical Writer will play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality of medical content produced by business. They will also produce timely and relevant content for business and all health communications platforms across business.
Responsibilities:
- Identify appropriate content and content sources for Vietnam, aligning with market requirements and business goals.
- Review and write original in-house and client-commissioned content as required.
- Ensure that the content, format, and structure of documents comply with regulatory, journal, or other guidelines.
- Monitor deadlines to ensure projects are delivered on time and dovetail with other company-wide projects.
- Liaise with the business team to ensure commitment to quality and editorial standards.
- Build, maintain, and manage good relationships with key opinion leaders and other contributors.
- Review, verify, and proofread content materials for quality and scientific accuracy, incorporating comments and necessary changes when required.
- Coordinate with writers and editors for content top-editing, graphic artists on design and layout development, and video editors on video projects.
- Ensure timely production of content and provide updates to the team on project status.
- Maintain and keep on file all references and source materials used.
- Participate in internal discussion meetings and the content development process, providing medical and scientific inputs.
- Represent the Editorial team in client meetings, as necessary.
- Research and understand marketing and medical writing requirements.
- Assist junior writers in their account team to develop their skills.
