About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our commercial team. The ideal candidate will come from a strong pharmaceutical (especially product management) background, with a deep understanding of the full life cycle of drug development. This is a key role where you will focus on business development, sales forecasting, and driving commercial success for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Drive the growth of new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical sectors, focusing on identifying and securing clients. Work across various market segments, ensuring the business meets its targets.
  • Sales Forecasting & Data Analysis: Use data-driven insights to forecast sales and identify emerging opportunities. Collaborate closely with the commercial team to inform strategies and decisions.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. The role will focus on being a client partner rather than a traditional sales-driven position.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects (3-5 per month), working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on deadlines and quality of delivery.
  • Market Representation: Act as the representative of our products in the market, analyzing market trends and competitors to inform strategic direction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product managers, marketing, and sales, to drive the commercialization of our products and services.
  • Commercial Awareness: Maintain a strong understanding of market dynamics, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector, and leverage this knowledge to drive business growth.


Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Industry Experience: Background in pharmaceuticals, or as a Product Manager within the industry. A deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle is essential.
  • Fluent English with strong communication/presentation skill
  • Experience: Experience in business development, commercial strategy, or project management, ideally in a sector that involves complex sales cycles and fast-paced market demands.
  • Attitude: A driven, resilient mindset with a strong ability to handle multiple projects. The ability to think strategically while being hands-on when necessary.
  • Professionalism: Well-presented and able to represent the business and clients with the highest degree of professionalism.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Previous experience with sales forecasts and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical market dynamics and the product life cycle from development to market introduction.
  • Open-minded to innovative, non-traditional business development approaches.
