Job Summary:

Job Requirements:
Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement the business unit's strategic plan in alignment with the company overall goals.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive growth and profitability.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies accordingly.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the business unit to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.

Financial Performance:

  • Manage the business units budget, including forecasting, allocation, and financial reporting.
  • Drive revenue growth through innovative marketing and sales strategies.
  • Analyze financial data to make informed business decisions and improve profitability.

Product Development and Lifecycle Management:

  • Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and lifecycle management.
  • Develop and execute plans for new product development and market entry.
  • Monitor the performance of existing products and make recommendations for improvements or discontinuations.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and events.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.

Skills and knowledge:

  • Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successful business management and achievement of financial targets.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, including regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
