Lead Business Development and Patient Solutions
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and implementation of impactful patient solutions for pharmaceutical and medical device companies. You will act as a strategic partner, supporting clients in managing and optimizing their products through innovative services.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate Business Relationships: Develop and leverage connections with C-suite executives to build strong partnerships.
- Drive Growth and Achieve Targets: Spearhead client acquisition and exceed sales goals.
- Manage ROI and Develop Strategies: Demonstrate expertise in optimizing return on investment for each initiative.
- Lead a High-Performing Team: Build and empower a talented team of patient solutions specialists, ensuring they are equipped with the resources and training to excel.
- Design and Implement Patient Support Programs: Develop and execute programs that promote medication adherence, affordability, and overall patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate and Align Initiatives: Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure patient support initiatives align with the organization's overarching objectives.
- Acquire New Clients: Identify and target pharmaceutical and medical device companies who can benefit from your expertise.
- Serve as a Trusted Advisor: Offer valuable guidance and insights to clients, tailoring patient support strategies to their specific needs and therapeutic areas.
- Optimize Patient Journeys: Design and implement programs that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction throughout their journey.
- Continuously Improve Services: Adapt and refine patient support offerings based on feedback, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Track Performance and Drive Improvement: Monitor key metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Build External Partnerships: Foster relationships with patient advocacy groups and healthcare providers to gain valuable insights and feedback.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to all relevant regulations and guidelines pertaining to patient support programs.
Qualifications:
- 8 years+ of working experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in patient support or related roles, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Any bachelor's degree, preferably from a healthcare-related field (Pharmacist, Nurse, Medical Doctor, Midwife) or business management.
- Proven track record of growing accounts and building strong client relationships.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in creating compelling presentations using Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- A keen understanding of patient needs and the ability to translate them into effective solutions.
- Expertise in patient support programs, including medication adherence, affordability, and patient access.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
- Proven success in developing and executing strategic initiatives that positively impact patient outcomes.
- Experience acquiring new clients and providing support to pharmaceutical and medical device companies is a plus.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and guidelines, such as HIPAA and GDPR, is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decisions.
