Chubb, a leading global insurance company with a presence in more than 54 countries, is opening its new Engineering Center in Bogotá. This strategic hub will drive digital transformation and the development of innovative technology solutions for the company worldwide.

In this role, you will be a key member of the Network Architecture and Engineering team within the Chubb Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organization. You will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing global Application Delivery solutions that ensure the resiliency and performance of Chubbs global infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Architect & Design: Deliver high-level and low-level designs for Application Delivery technologies, encompassing performance, capacity, and inventory management.
• Advisory & Consulting: Act in an advisory capacity to ensure that applications and services take full advantage of Application Delivery architecture and features.
• Strategic Roadmapping: Envision and create comprehensive designs for new platforms by understanding existing deployments.
• Automation: Drive the automation of key services and provide use cases across features and functionality to improve efficiency.
• Project Leadership: Lead extended sessions and workshops to establish tactical and strategic priorities.
• Documentation: Create necessary high-level and low-level design documentation for seamless delivery and operational team hand-offs.
• Executive Presentation: Prepare and present executive-level material on proposed solutions and their benefits to the organization.
• Resiliency Partnering: Work in concert with Resiliency programs to leverage Application Delivery functions for maximum system uptime.
  

What We're Looking For

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Application Delivery solutions within large enterprise environments.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Technical Expertise:

• Expert knowledge of the OSI model layers and Domain Name System (DNS).
• Hands-on experience with Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Expertise in F5 LTM and F5 DNS.
• Proficiency with NSX Advanced Load Balancer (formerly Avi Networks).
• Cloud & Automation: * Direct experience with Ansible for scripting and automation.
• Exposure to Azure, AWS, and GCP native Load Balancing solutions.
• Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of Linux and Unix operating systems.
• Soft Skills: Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders and collaborate across regional technology teams.
