Pipe Fitter

A recognized company in the manufacturing sector is seeking its Pipe Fitter in Georgetown, Guyana, who will ensure the performance of pipe fitting activities following Foreman instructions and in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Reporting directly to the Foreman, your main responsibilities will be:

Perform pipe fitting activities in accordance with safety and quality requirements.

Follow daily instructions given by the Foreman.

Perform pipe cutting, beveling, fitting activities, piping prefabrication, installation, and assembly activities.

To successfully fulfill the position, it is very important that you have these characteristics:

Knowledge of the main international construction standards and codes.

Ability to read and interpret technical project documents.

Knowledge of piping activities and ability to finalize relevant procedures.

Knowledge of materials and equipment for stringing, bending, lining up, and lowering pipes.
