Tech Lead – DevOps & Integrations

About the Company

Leading French multinational technology company specialized in secure identity solutions, providing biometric identification products, software, and digital identity services to governments and private organizations worldwide. The company is currently looking for an Integration Technical Lead to join its team in Bogotá, Colombia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical teams throughout software integration and deployment initiatives, providing technical guidance, ownership, and support during the entire project lifecycle.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for integration, deployment, and DevOps-related topics across multiple projects.
• Drive key technical decisions impacting delivery, solution quality, operational stability, and project costs.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, cross-functional teams, and clients to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business objectives.
• Participate in client-facing technical workshops, alignment sessions, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Lead production deployments and release activities, ensuring minimal risk, high availability, and operational stability.
• Define and implement software integration strategies, deployment methodologies, and operational best practices.
• Design, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Linux environments to streamline deployment and operational processes.
• Integrate, deploy, and support SOAP and REST APIs, ensuring security, performance, scalability, and version control.
• Work with microservices-based architectures, focusing on observability, resiliency, security, and automated deployments.
• Support software industrialization initiatives through non-functional testing, including load, stress, and resilience testing.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, installation guides, and operational manuals.
• Mentor and support technical team members on integration, DevOps, and operational best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing complex software integration projects.
• Strong experience working with Linux environments and Shell scripting.
• Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with application servers and frameworks such as WildFly, Spring Boot, ESB, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience with API integration and web services (SOAP and REST).
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with microservices architectures and production deployment processes.
• Knowledge of software architecture, infrastructure security, and load balancing is highly valued.
• Linux and/or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
• Experience working under Agile methodologies (Scrum).
• Strong communication skills with both technical teams and client stakeholders.
• Advanced English is required.
