What will you do in this position?

• Lead Global Consolidation: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual group close processes across all entities, managing intercompany accounting and eliminations.
• Ensure Compliance & Controls: Own Group accounting policies under international standards (UK GAAP / FRS / IFRS) and design, implement, and test the internal control environment for external audit readiness.
• Strategic Financial Control: Partner on the Group budgeting process, drive periodic re-forecasting, and rigorously monitor and report on bank covenants.
• Technical Subject Matter Expert: Provide advanced technical accounting guidance, specifically structuring Hedge Accounting treatments for currency and financial exposures.

To successfully excel in this position, it is crucial that you meet the following criteria:

What should you have beforehand?

• International Professional Qualification: Must hold a recognized accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or country equivalent).
• Solid Technical Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with international Group Accounts and applicable accounting standards (FRS / IFRS).
• Absolute Bilingualism: Full professional fluency in both English and Spanish (mandatory for seamless communication between regional and international teams).
• Global Mobility: Flexibility to be based in Bogotá with a willingness to travel frequently to other global offices as required.
