From Timup, a recruitment consultancy, we are supporting a fast-growing technology company in the search for a Senior Account Executive focused on the Telco sector.

This role will play a key part in driving international growth, owning new business acquisition and managing complex sales cycles with top-tier telecom operators.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales cycle end-to-end, from prospecting to closing, targeting international Telco accounts
  • Focus on acquiring new clients, especially Tier 1 telecom operators, while also engaging selected Tier 2 players
  • Proactively generate pipeline through outbound activity, industry network and market presence
  • Identify, qualify and develop high-value opportunities in complex and long sales environments
  • Engage with senior stakeholders (C-level, CTO, IT, Network, Cloud, Innovation teams)
  • Understand client needs and translate complex technical solutions into clear business value
  • Lead strategic deals, including commercial structuring, negotiation and closing
  • Navigate multi-layered sales processes, including procurement, technical validation and internal alignment
  • Develop and execute account plans for key operators
  • Collaborate closely with pre-sales, product, marketing and solution teams
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and ecosystem partners
  • Contribute to refining go-to-market strategy and value proposition based on market feedback

Profile

  • +10 years of experience in B2B sales within the Telco sector
  • Proven track record selling to Tier 1 telecom operators
  • Strong experience managing long, complex and multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Demonstrated success closing large, strategic deals
  • Solid understanding of telecom and infrastructure environments (5G, cloud, networks, edge or similar)
  • International sales experience is required
  • Fluent English (mandatory). Additional languages such as German or French are a plus
  • Strong hunter mindset with a focus on new business generation
  • Ability to open strategic accounts and build pipeline from scratch
  • High credibility with senior and technical stakeholders
  • Ability to translate complex solutions into business impact
  • Strong negotiation and closing capabilities
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution
  • Autonomous, results-driven and comfortable in fast-paced environments
