As a Technical Solutions Architect, you will be a vital link between our sales, pre-sales, and development teams, delivering technical expertise and tailored solutions to ensure the successful deployment, maintenance, and support of our iSentry platform. Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation: Design, configure, and implement Proof of Concept (PoC) and production systems, addressing both hardware and software requirements, using the coompany's cutting-edge iSentry platform to meet client needs.
- Support the Sales team in qualifying and scoping non-standard or complex hardware configurations during the pre-sales phase.
- Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain the iSentry software, managing ongoing support, updates, and system health for PoC and production environments.
- Customer Engagement: Build and nurture strong customer relationships, acting as the technical interface to understand their requirements, communicate results, and deliver customized solutions.
- Technical Translation: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable terms for clients, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to ensure software functionality and reliability, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.
- Innovation and Collaboration: Stay current with emerging trends in video analytics and CCTV technologies, collaborating with the product and development teams to optimize integrations, enhance features, and address new client requirements.
- Best Practices: Implement best practices for system health, alert dynamics, and camera installations, conducting testing and validation to ensure optimal performance.
- Ownership and Follow-Through: Manage installations, deployments, and customer relationships, ensuring seamless execution and follow-through on all technical deliverables.
- Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and train team members to enhance their technical capabilities and foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the organisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in a technical support, solutions engineering, or architect role, ideally within the technology or surveillance industry. Hands-on experience with video monitoring, security control room operations, or AI-driven surveillance systems is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in desktop and server support, network troubleshooting, system configuration, and general IT knowledge. Familiarity with multiple Video Management System (VMS) platforms and advanced analytics is a plus.
- Database Skills: Experience with SQL and database management is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Problem-solving: Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a proactive, solution-focused mindset and a passion for resolving complex challenges.
- Communication: Excellent proficiency in English (additional languages are an asset), with the ability to convey key insights to customers, product teams, and third-party vendors effectively.
- Organization: Advanced planning, time management, and attention to detail to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
- Education and Certifications: A degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with technical training or certifications (considered an advantage).
