HR Business Partner (HR & Admin Operations) – PH Team Support

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on HR Business Partner to support an Australian mortgage business by overseeing the HR and administrative needs of its Philippine-based team. 

This role will act as the key HR partner for local operations, ensuring smooth people processes, employee support, policy compliance, and coordination with leadership. This role is ideal for someone who can balance strategic HR partnership with day-to-day HR administration and team oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

· Partner with business leaders and team managers to align HR support with business objectives.

· Provide workforce insights and recommendations on staffing, retention, and team structure.

· Support leadership in implementing people strategies that improve performance and engagement.

HR Operations & Administration

· Oversee the full employee lifecycle: recruitment coordination, onboarding, probation tracking, performance review support, and offboarding.

· Maintain and monitor employee records, HR trackers, and required documentation.

· Ensure HR admin processes are accurate, timely, and compliant with company standards.

· Prepare HR reports and dashboards (headcount, turnover, attendance, performance, engagement, etc.).

Performance & Employee Relations

· Guide managers in handling performance issues, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions.

· Support documentation of employee concerns, incidents, and corrective actions in line with policy and PH labor practices.

· Promote consistency and fairness in employee relations handling.

Policy, Compliance & Process Improvement

· Review and update HR policies and procedures to align with Philippine labor regulations and business needs.

· Recommend and implement HR process improvements and documentation standards.

· Ensure HR practices are compliant, organized, and scalable as the team grows.

Engagement & Team Support

· Support employee engagement and retention initiatives for the PH team.

· Help foster a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.

· Act as a reliable HR point of contact for team concerns and HR-related queries.


Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in human resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.

· 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HRBP, HR Lead, or HR Manager role.

· Strong background in HR operations, employee relations, and performance management.

· Good working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR documentation standards.

· Experience supporting remote teams, outsourced teams, or BPO/shared services is highly preferred.

· Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (comfortable working with Australian/client-facing setup).

· Proficient in HR reporting, spreadsheets, and HR systems/tools.

· Experience in mortgage, finance, or professional services is an advantage.

Technical Requirements

  • Has own equipment (Laptop or Desktop) at least core i7 with 16 GB RAM and a back-up equipment
  • Stable internet connection (at least 100 MBPS upload and download)
  • Conducive home-office work set-up and noise canceling headset.


On Offer

  • Competitive pay of PHP 65,000 - PHP 94,000, based to skills and experience
  • Permanent remote setup
  • Day shift: AU Business Hours (approx. 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM PHT)
  • Annual performance review
