Three Peaks International is a Sydney based staffing solutions partner which provides local and virtual staffing solutions to Australian businesses through outsourcing, recruitment, and migration.

We are seeking a competent and analytical Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist with relevant experience in handing volume transactions in Construction Industry.

The successful candidate would have an opportunity to work in one of established construction and consultancy firm based in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable Function

  • Reviewing and processing invoices in line with company procedures using Xero and Abtrac (Project Management Tool)
  • Process and amend construction invoices in Abtrac
  • Ensure to update the list of invoicing disbursing list and client billing details, contacts, new jobs in the CRM.
  • Liaising with and helping Project Managers prepare invoices and sub-contractor statements and agreements, follow up for any outstanding signed fee proposals.
  • Ensure all invoices are filed correctly in line with company procedures.
  • Prepare Bank and account reconciliations in XERO.

Administrative Tasks/ Accounts Payable

  • Provide administrative assistance in gathering data, receipts and expense related documents for monitoring and accounts entry
  • Process purchase receipts and entries from XERO in a day-to- day basis.
  • Create and maintain an accurate and up-to-date monthly expense and credit statement reports in monthly basis- includes tax, toll and motor vehicle information
  • Gathering, entering data into databases, and keeping accurate records of important
    company data
  • Electronically filing invoices, contracts etc in their appropriate location, and ensuring all
    documentation is filed correctly
  • Provide general support to other departments and employees as needed


Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with Australian Chartered firm or commercial.
  • Amenable to work in AP/ AR Volume transactions. Relevant experience working in Construction Industry is an advantage.
  • Proficient in using XERO and Project Management Tools
  • Relevant work experience and knowledge in Australian tax laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft OfficePersonable traits
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented and innovative professional
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
