The Opportunity
Youll be the go-to person for managing and growing relationships with key automation customers. By combining your technical expertise with outstanding customer service, youll help deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions that meet the unique needs of each client. From initial contact to flawless program launches, youll oversee every aspect of the customer journey.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Establish my client as a trusted partner for actuation and automation solutions.
- Own the customer relationship, guiding them from prototype testing through to launch and beyond.
- Communicate customer needs to executive teams and drive the implementation of tailored solutions.
- Expand the relationship to include quality, plant-level, and executive contacts to increase influence and solidify partnerships.
- Meet regularly with purchasing and engineering teams, positioning the company as their preferred supplier.
What Youll Bring
- A Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales or application engineering with mechanical or electrical components.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical applications.
- Sales and negotiation skills paired with a passion for customer success.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment, with bi-weekly travel as needed.
