Role Overview:

As a Leasehold / Housing Officer, you will be an essential part of A Surrey Local Council's Housing and Leasehold Management team. Your primary focus will be on managing leasehold properties, handling Section 20 notices, Right to Buy inquiries, service charge reconciliation, and utilizing your Excel and V-lookup skills to streamline processes and ensure accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage leasehold properties, addressing resident queries and concerns.
  • Skillfully navigate and manage Section 20 notices, ensuring legal compliance and transparent communication.
  • Handle Right to Buy applications, guiding eligible residents through the process and ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Conduct thorough service charge reconciliations, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accurate billing and resolving discrepancies.
  • Utilize your strong Excel skills and proficiency in V-lookup software to maintain organized records and generate insightful reports.

QualifiCations and Skills:

  • Experience working in leasehold management, with a comprehensive understanding of Section 20 notices, Right to Buy, and service charge reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in Excel and V-lookup, enabling you to efficiently manage data and produce detailed reports.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with residents, stakeholders, and colleagues effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities to manage a diverse workload and meet deadlines.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in property management or a related field are advantageous.
