Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee content production for Career Indaba Radios flagship shows, including:
- Breakfast Show Daily deep dives into employment trends, economic policies, and leadership.
- Career Bootcamp Show Practical career advice, upskilling strategies, and industry insights.
- Youth Plug Focus on graduate employment, entrepreneurship, and youth career development.
- SME Drive Business growth strategies, SME funding, and enterprise development discussions.
- World of Work Show Thought leadership on the future of work, digital disruption, and AI.
- Research, script, and coordinate interviews with high-profile guests, ensuring informative and engaging discussions.
- Develop thought-provoking topics that align with global and African labor market trends.
- Oversee production schedules, content planning, and editorial direction to ensure quality and consistency.
- Coordinate live and pre-recorded shows, ensuring smooth execution, guest management, and audience engagement.
- Drive audience engagement strategies through storytelling, social media integration, and interactive programming.
- Collaborate with the marketing and editorial teams to align radio content with digital, print, and podcast platforms.
- Monitor industry trends, economic shifts, and policy changes to keep Career Indaba Radio ahead of the curve.
