Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented and strategic Social Media Director to join this innovative agency. This leadership role will involve overseeing the development and execution of social media strategies across multiple digital platforms, while maintaining strong client relationships and driving team performance. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of creativity, strategy, and data-driven insights to manage social media campaigns that drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for clients
  • Oversee client social media budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation for maximum ROI
  • Manage content creation and scheduling across various platforms, ensuring consistency and relevance
  • Lead the creative team in producing high-quality social media assets, including graphics and videos
  • Analyse campaign performance metrics and KPIs, providing actionable insights for optimisation
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure continuous campaign innovation
  • Foster collaboration with partner agencies

Core Requirements:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in social media management, ideally within a fast-paced agency or brand environment
  • Expertise in content creation, copywriting, and social media feed curation
  • Strong understanding of paid social campaigns and digital marketing best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach
  • Proven experience in team leadership and coaching
  • Demonstrated success in client management and execution of successful campaigns
  • Passion for staying on top of social media trends and data-driven decision-making

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Basic graphic design skills to enhance visual storytelling
  • Experience with social media analytics, reporting tools, and performance-based advertising

Salary from 55K DOE
