This is a confidential search via Think Differently Recruitment on behalf of a leading digital media group. The role blends consultative sales and data-led optimisation across new solutions including native and display to unlock and grow performance budgets.
About the Role
You'll establish our client as the go-to performance partner across native and display, driving measurable outcomes for advertisers. Success looks like: winning incremental performance spend via outbound efforts, elevating inbound brief responses with best-in-class data/targeting, and building a scalable optimisation playbook with Ad Ops and Tech.
What You'll Be Doing
- Outbound performance sales
- Prospect, pitch, and close performance budgets across a focus set of sectors
- Package PMP/PG/Open Auction deals; maintain 3x pipeline coverage and accurate forecasting.
- Build relationships with agency trading/performance teams and performance-led brands.
- Inbound brief performance solutions
- Partner with agency sales to enrich RFPs/briefs with targeting strategies, testing plans, and clear KPIs (CPA, ROAS, CTR)
- Produce media plans and measurement approaches that win and retain spend.
- Contribute to case studies and post-campaign analysis to drive renewals/upsells.
- Performance strategy and optimisation
- Devise data-led strategies leveraging first-party data/DMP and contextual signals.
- Translate strategy into trafficking rules and optimisation guardrails; QA delivery.
- Collaborate with Tech to test and evaluate automated optimisation approaches.
- New revenue pools and product opportunities
- Size the opportunity to transition suitable performance budgets from social (video/native) to owned/native network formats (articles, carousels, video).
- Feed market insight into new/performance-friendly native products and packages.
What You Bring
- Min 5+ years in digital media/programmatic/native with a track record in performance-led campaigns or selling performance solutions.
- Strong knowledge of PMP, PG, Open Auction, first-party data/DMPs, and privacy/GDPR.
- Commercial acumen: pipeline building, solution selling, deal structuring, and forecasting.
- Data literacy: experimentation mindset and the ability to turn insights into action with Ad Ops/Tech.
- Credibility with agency trading/performance teams; clear, concise communication.
