About the job Director- University Relations
You will be an integral member of our University Relations team focusing on recruitment and admissions offices to strengthen existing and develop relationships with administrators to drive application volume and build brand awareness. You will be an evangelist for international students pursuing their educational dreams by promoting our recruitment and financing solutions, thus helping schools increase international enrollment and enhance campus diversity. This role has a direct impact on the business and social impact goals of the company.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Directly managing and growing our international university admissions
- Creating, organizing and hosting on-campus and virtual visits and online webinars to increase awareness of our financing solutions
- Expanding our network of university admissions offices and pipeline of prospective international students looking for recruitment and financing services
- Assessing key regions and markets for growth potential, as well as developing and maintaining growth plans for key accounts
- Creating and implementing new solutions that address university and corporate employers needs, testing these solutions, and collaborating with Operations, Underwriting, Engineering, and Finance functions to bring these
solutions to life to generate new revenue - Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound and outbound efforts along with creating and managing the distribution of sales collateral
- Supporting the Marketing team with campaign management, web content, competitive assessments, and ad hoc projects
- Ensuring the success of every applicant by collaborating with internal teams in troubleshooting processing issues or supporting or delinquent borrower outreach as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or technology-related field, or higher
- 10+ years of demonstrated B2B sales and partnership management results, preferably within the higher education or financial services sector
- Expertise in positioning solutions effectively at all levels of the client organization
- Fluency in proposing, presenting, and discussing solutions with influencers and decision-makers
- Highly developed client service and client satisfaction focus mindset is a must
- Experience and ability to operate within a fast-paced, multi-disciplined virtual tea
- Strong communicator, both in person and especially in writing, including superior leadership and mentorship skillset
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broad audiences
- Strong analytical skills and highly comfortable with a tech-enabled environment where the use of tools like Salesforce.com, Slack, or Confluence are the norm
