The Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented insurance professional to manage and develop client relationships, provide technical support, and contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Servicing Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring high levels of service and retention.
  • Policy Administration Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations across various commercial insurance products.
  • Technical Support Provide expert advice on commercial insurance products, including property, liability, motor fleet, and professional indemnity.
  • Market Negotiation Liaise with insurers and underwriters to secure competitive terms and coverage for clients.
  • Compliance & Documentation Ensure all client documentation and records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with FCA regulations.
  • Business Development Support Work closely with Account Executives to identify new opportunities and assist in growing the client base.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Insurance Expertise Minimum 2+ years of experience in commercial insurance broking.
  • Product Knowledge Strong understanding of key commercial insurance products and markets.
  • Client-Focused Approach Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with a consultative approach.
  • Negotiation & Communication Skills Confident in negotiating with insurers and advising clients effectively.
  • Attention to Detail Strong administrative and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Cert CII Qualification (or working towards) is preferred but not essential.
