Position Overview

The Chief People Officer (CPO) is responsible for leading the organization's people strategy, culture, and workforce transformation agenda. This role focuses on building a high-performance, inclusive, and future-ready organization by driving talent acquisition, leadership development, employee experience, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. The CPO ensures that people strategy is fully aligned with business strategy to enable sustainable growth and performance.

Key Responsibilities

People Strategy & Workforce Planning

Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy aligned with organizational goals.

Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and capability building initiatives.

Ensure alignment between talent strategy and long-term business objectives.

Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

Oversee end-to-end talent acquisition and recruitment strategies.

Strengthen employer brand positioning to attract top-tier talent.

Build scalable talent pipelines across key functions and geographies.

Employee Experience & Engagement

Design and implement strategies to enhance employee experience and satisfaction.

Drive employee engagement, retention, and well-being initiatives.

Establish feedback mechanisms to continuously improve workplace experience.

Culture & Organizational Development

Shape and sustain a strong organizational culture aligned with company values.

Lead cultural transformation and change management initiatives.

Promote diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI) across the organization.

Leadership Development & Succession Planning

Develop leadership capability frameworks and succession plans.

Implement learning and development programs for all employee levels.

Build a strong internal leadership pipeline for critical roles.

Performance Management & Rewards

Design performance management systems aligned with business outcomes.

Oversee compensation, benefits, and rewards strategies.

Ensure fairness, competitiveness, and pay equity across the organization.

HR Operations & People Systems

Oversee HR operations, HR technology systems, and employee lifecycle processes.

Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR policies.

Drive efficiency and automation in HR processes.

Data & People Analytics

Leverage people analytics to inform strategic HR decisions.

Track key workforce metrics such as attrition, engagement, productivity, and hiring effectiveness.

Provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with CEO, CFO, COO, and business leaders on workforce strategies.

Align people initiatives with business transformation programs.

Support mergers, acquisitions, and organizational restructuring initiatives.

Leadership & Team Development

Lead and mentor HR and people operations teams.

Foster a high-performance, people-centric culture within HR functions.

Build capability across all HR business partners and centers of excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field; MBA or Master's preferred.

12–15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.

Proven experience in leading people strategy, culture transformation, and organizational development.

Strong understanding of HR systems, labor laws, and global workforce practices.
