About the job Product Owner
Responsibilities:
- Develops and drives the product vision and strategy. Provides constant feedback to the team and helps the team follow a vision. Their biggest challenge is to ensure that the team knows in precise detail what is expected to be developed with a deep understanding of the target market and industry. Builds close relationships with stakeholders and defines a product's commercial strategy.
- Define a clear and ambitious product vision, and communicate "the story" effectively to key stakeholders and the rest of the team.
- Own the end-to-end product strategy from its inception, determining the business value once the solution enters production.
- Develop a backlog of product features. For example, write user stories and acceptance criteria with the work cell team.
- Continuously improve backlog, ensuring all items are clearly described, estimated, and prioritized.
- Ensure a customer-centric design, considering user pain points and test results, while using market and industry knowledge to deliver a well-positioned product.
- Approve each product attribute and give feedback to the team.
- Coordinate the sprints and release plans together with the Scrum Master.
- Exercise decision-making from the business team end-to-end.
- Work together with the technology teams to develop a modular, reusable solution.
- Experience in Agile Development, such as Product owner or similar position with extensive experience in digital.
- Deep knowledge of relevant products/journeys.
- Solid knowledge of industry trends and user demands/pain points to be able to create a high-value product vision.
- Familiarity with Technology/IT systems to be able to engage in discussion with each technology team to foresee risks.
- Past experience in banking is a plus.
- Challenging mindset and passion to challenge the status quo in order to find new solutions and promote innovative ideas - adaptability to change.
- Believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust across the team.
- Not afraid to "get their hands dirty" and leave their comfort zone to increase her/his knowledge - pushes the team to do the same.
- Innovative mindset
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex trade-offs/messages and tell a compelling story.
- Sufficient authority to make decisions in the lab.
- Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders - strong leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability with the ability to drive a solution and monitor its progress.
