Job Description/Responsibilities
The Teller accurately processes and balances all customer deposit transactions assigned throughout the shift in a manner that is consistent with the objectives, policies and procedures of the Company. Responsibilities: Ensures no cash is left behind from the previous shift; Collects deposits to be processed from the Receiving Room Tellers along with Vault Transfer Reports; Processes deposits in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Cash & Custody Procedures; Packages, seals and labels documents/items; Ensures Cash, Custody & Security Procedures are followed at all times.
Job Requirements
A minimum of five (5) subjects a the CSEC level, including English Language and Mathematics/Accounts; A minimum of two (2) years experience as a Teller or high volume Cashier. Detail-oriented with strong numerical ability; Highly motivated and organized; Self-motivated and a team player; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Good interpersonal, listening and communication skills; Excellent time management and problem-solving skills; Computer literate with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite; Flexible to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays and for extended hours.
