Responsibilities for Network Analyst/Network Engineer:
The Network Analyst is responsible for providing specialized technical support commensurate with acquired tele Network skills required during the conception, planning and design of technical solutions to satisfy business needs.
The Network Analyst will report to a manager, although, depending on the nature, size and duration of a project, the incumbent may also be reported temporarily to a Network Project Manager in a matrix environment.
Must be able to work independently to accomplish tasks.
The scope of Network includes network architecture, Network hardware and software, networking applications, network management, planning and management of financial budgets, Network products and services.
Responsible for implementing and supporting a diverse and wide range of technology, encompassing all the companys networks in all branches in the region, maintaining service reliability and availability in line with Service Level Agreements requirements consistent with strategic objectives.
Procedures and policies, based on experience and industry best practice, will be developed to quickly resolve all incidents and introduce cost-effective structural remedies to permanently fix problems while maintaining confidentiality, availability, and integrity of all systems, networks, and data.
Knowledge of banking products, procedures, business practices and customer expectations is a must to gauge the effect of change on service delivery.
Experience with support and deployment of all or subset of network routers and switches, network firewalls, voice systems required.
Ensure proper information is available and always current in all appropriate, and possibly multiple, locations, including SharePoint administration and coordination with other repository owners.
Collect and diagnose sample products that indicate quality issue, locate the component or identify the process causing the issue with root cause and preventive action plans if applicable, and document findings for management review.
Create and provide testing and repair procedures to service operation for known quality issues and monitor reliability of the products in the field.
Provide easily understandable illustrations and wordings for diagnosis related service information bulletins originally sent from counter partner for more efficient and effective repair process.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience
Certified CCNA is a must
Bachelors Degree in Network Engineering or any equivalent
2+ years of experience in working on Enterprise level projects for Financial Institutions
Thorough understanding of Network principles and practices
Understanding of financial/investment industry is a plus
Has a can do attitude and a sense of urgency in this rapidly changing environment
Thrive in a fast-past, deadline-driven environment with ability to work collaboratively and individually
Strong organization, attention to detail and analytical skills
