Major Duties & Responsibilities



Planning

  • Contribute to the Test Plans for the projects to which the incumbent is assigned.

Execution

  • Participate in systems and process training and other sessions to understand the targeted solution.
  •  Participates in project meetings and variance triage meetings, provides updates on assigned tasks, and suggests tasks and testing activities for the successful implementation of project initiatives.
  • Reads and understands user manuals, procedures, and available supporting documentation for use during test execution.
  •  Executes assigned tasks to write test scripts, execute test scripts, and conduct retests as directed.
  •  Obtains sign-off for deliverables from supervisor.
  •  Documents testing activities and results, and reports variances including any unexpected system performance, by established guidelines.
  • Collaborates with other testers to ensure that workflows are tested end-to-end.
  • Provides inputs to support collation of Lessons Learned.
  • Provide first-level support for users during the project's warranty phase.
  • Performs other duties commensurate with the role for the efficient execution of project initiatives.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Maintains accurate and comprehensive documentation for all activities ensuring access to and efficient retrieval of information as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Banking, Finance or related discipline.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Customer Service skills.
  • Ability to train others.
  • Cooperative and willing to assist others.
  • Well organized, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of variables and deliver required results.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly confidential.
  • Good time management.
  • Demonstrated job commitment and personal flexibility to meet changing expectations.
  • Two (2) years progressive experience in a similar position.
