POSITION: GAS STATION SUPERVISOR

DIRECT REPORT: MANAGER

Role Purpose

The purpose of a gas station supervisor is to oversee the daily operations of a gas station, ensuring that customers receive quality service and products, managing staff, and maintaining financial records. They are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the gas station, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Additionally, gas station supervisors may handle customer complaints, schedule employee shifts, and implement marketing strategies to increase sales. Their goal is to ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the gas station.

Duties:

Supervise daily operations of the gas station, including overseeing staff, scheduling shifts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station and surrounding property.

Handle cash and credit transactions, reconcile sales and deposits, and prepare daily financial reports.

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Resolve customer complaints and concerns.

Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.

Requirements:

5 CXC O' Level Passes inclusive of Mathematics and English

Certificate/Diploma in Business management/ Administration

2 years previous experience in retail or customer service preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Computer skills (Excel, Microsoft word, Micros)
