JOB SPECIFICATION AND DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE : Cashier/ Server
REPORTS DIRECTLY TO : Store Manager
DEPARTMENT : Branch Operations
Must have at least two (2) years working experience in cashiering
Must have a satisfactory police record
High School level education with at least 4 subjects
Basic Computer skills and knowledge
Good math skills
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Ensure work space is clean and clear for service at all times
Comply with the organizations rules, policies and procedures
Maintain a harmonious relationship with the rest of the staff and customers alike
Alerting the manager if needed for emergencies or security breaches
Integrity and good interpersonal skills
Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task
Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills
Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly, professional and outgoing personality
Excellent communication skills
Must be a team player
Must have excellent time management skills
Keep workspace clean and presentable at all times
Cooperate and communicate with staff, customers and management
Adhere to all relevant health and safety government rules and all customer service guidelines
Ability to effectively respond to questions from managers, employees, members and general
public
Ability to apply common sense and initiative to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram
format
While performing duties of the job, you will be required to stand for long periods throughout the
day
Provide the perfect service experience for every Guest
Ensure the Guest feels important and welcome in the restaurant
Adhere to timing standards for products and services
Serve the Guest in an accommodating manner
Must know all food liquor, beer, wine and retail offered
Keep up with restaurant trends
General Responsibilities
Deliver professional and optimal experience for the clients
Must be detailed oriented
Maintain professional conduct and appearance at all times

Effectively inform and educate the clients about all services and retail products

Communicate to the manager regarding all queries and concerns, as they relate to both staff and
client
Actively promote facility, through utilization of upselling and cross selling techniques
Professionally and courteously handle all clients and their complaints and always report same to
management
Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests from our clients
Show initiative and responsibility without the presence of a supervisor within the scope of your
expectations
Use initiative to know when to escalate client issues, complaints or concerns to Supervisors and
or management
Attend all meetings and training
Assist in all areas as needed by the manager and or Supervisor
Assist to develop programs to meet target revenue
