Job brief

The ideal candidate will engage with representatives of business units to develop and/or modify requirements, business design specifications for units’ SharePoint page.


Responsibilities

  • Perform requirements analysis to provide business units with recommendations in recreating and migrating their content.
  • Analyze requirements, construct workflow charts and diagrams, and
    comprehending system capabilities. Ability to produce clear and concise documentation and workflows.
  • Manage and design site collections, content databases.
  • Implement web part pages and site features.
  • Assist with development of SharePoint processes, and procedures.
  • Utilize SharePoint to create automated forms, such as surveys, which have built in approval/vetting process workflows.
  • Provide direction and assistance on levels of testing to ensure migrated
    sites are defect free.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to SharePoint sites, workflows and content.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SharePoint Online, with a strong emphasis on modern SharePoint sites and site architecture (hub sites, content
    libraries, document lists, search, etc.). Experience with other JavaScript framework like Typescript, React, Bootstrap and SharePoint Framework.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal
    required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SharePoint Online, with a strong emphasis on modern SharePoint sites and site architecture (hub sites, content libraries, document lists, search, etc.). 
  • Knowledge of Java frameworks, architecture, and design patterns
  • Experience with other JavaScript framework like Typescript, React, Bootstrap and SharePoint Framework.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal required).
  • Project management and process improvement experience.
  • Proficient in object-oriented development.
  • Able to effectively and quickly adopt new technology.
  • Good communication skills.
