Job Profile:

The Liquid Oxygen/Combine Heat and Power/Carbon Dioxide Liquefied Natural gas (LOX/CHP/CO2/LNG) Refrigeration/Plant Technician will work as a part of a team responsible for all maintenance functions including but not limited to a preventative, corrective and emergency dispensation, on all plant equipment. In addition, the job holder manages by leading external customer interface relating to Industrial product and equipment operation. The major focus of the job holder's role is to ensure that all tasks are documented and carried out most cost-effectively and safely.

 Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

· Conducting routine safety checks and performing scheduled preventative maintenance activities to Refrigeration cooling and chiller systems. Possess sound knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls and electrical control systems, for Boiler/Reboiler, Compressors, Fluid Pumps and turbines.

· Maintain all IGL Limited Refrigeration, ventilation, Fluid cooling, and heating equipment and processes including Chillers, economizers/vaporizers, and heat exchangers.

· Monitoring of the electrical generation and distribution facilities, Carbon Dioxide, Liquid Oxygen/Nitrogen production plants, and Liquefied Natural Gas storage and refueling equipment

· Be on call when coverage is needed including but not limited to the LOX/LIN and CO2 production plants, CHP generation machinery, the LNG storage, and refueling skid.

· Performs diagnostic evaluation on equipment and institute safe and timely repairs. Ensuring that all industrial machines are serviced, repaired, and maintained according to IGL protocol and standards for plants and apparatus

· Hands-on experience with equipment instrument and electrical systems, monitoring and ensuring equipment and machinery availability for operations in plants assigned, reducing downtime

· Strong computation and data trend analysis

· Participate in training programs relevant to the IMG Maintenance Technicians, Plant Operators, and IGL customers

· Adhere strictly to institute measures to safeguard company assets issued/provided with; service vehicles, Pertinent tools, equipment, and personal protective gear. Monitors and controls all movement of company resources, equipment, and tools pertinent to the maintenance, production, and installation process to ensure availability and longevity.

· Liaises with store personnel to monitor and conduct routine tool audits, maintaining and updating the records for the issuing and utilization of tools and safety gear ensuring that the company's assets are protected from abuse.

· Ensure that product leaks or venting is avoided, especially in the case of explosives, flammable or toxic gases. Ensures that in the event of a leak, spill, or venting, the company's emergency management procedures for the relevant material are complied with. (All incidences must be reported in writing to the Maintenance Manager, and the HSE Officer).

· Ensures that all work orders and permits are completed according to schedule and all records are kept according to established standards.

· Ensures that plant equipment is maintained according to schedules and that high housekeeping standards are maintained.

· Actively participate in bi-annual performance reviews within the time specified by the company.

· Actively participate in weekly toolbox and departmental meetings to update/retain/enforce company policies, procedures, and safety practices.

· Performs other duties reasonably assigned periodically.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in the plant where the drone of the machines is constant.

Exposed to high-speed and torque equipment
