About the job Special Projects Manager
The Special Projects Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects at Beryllium from the initial ideation to completion. The incumbent will coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned with objectives. Manages activities to ensure that assigned projects are completed on time, to specifications, and accurately and efficiently. Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly. Conducts cost analyses and presents expected costs for projects. Prepares and manages a budget based on estimates. Drafts schedules for the implementation of long-range plans and proposals. Monitors project progress, drafting and distributing periodic progress reports for leadership and stakeholders. Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigating risks (including termination of the project if appropriate. Addresses questions, concerns, and complaints throughout the project. Acts as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors. Serves as a liaison with executives, and department heads, to ensure that organizational goals are met. Communicates and collaborates with the Client Relations and Marketing teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell products/solutions in the form of special projects Maintains compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and best practices. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field required PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications are highly desirable Minimum three (3) years experience in a similar capacity Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
