Senior SQL & ETL Developer

Job description

As our Senior SQL & ETL Developer, you will have extensive knowledge and experience in SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and solid experience working with data transformations and all technical aspects of ETL processes. Your ultimate goal is to help our clients to implement valuable database-driven applications that provide them with high-quality data to support their business processes.
Responsibilities

• Responsible for the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of SQL
• Server databases, ETL processes, SSIS & SSRS packages:
• Develop databases from conceptual, logical, and physical modeling through to implementation
• Enjoys maintaining and supporting existing ETL applications
• Create T-SQL scripts to implement business logic for ETL processes
• Help the team to analyze and troubleshoot ETL processes
• Ensure data processes are performing efficiently and are using best practices, standards, and guidelines
• Create and maintain technical and functional design documents for projects
• Communicate clearly with managers and team members
• Open to learning new innovative technologies and upgrading knowledge on existing ones
• Experience with Power BI
• Use your experience to troubleshoot and find solutions for technical issues
• Navigate code from existing applications and learn them with minimal assistance
• Microsoft certified or willing to become certified

Requirements and Skills

• Five or more years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining SQL Databases
• Five or more years of hands-on experience in ETL Process Development
• Five or more years of hands-on experience with T-SQL scripts, SSIS and SSRS package development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or on small teams with minimum supervision

Academic Requirements

Related University degree or College diploma
