Scrum Master

Job brief

The ideal candidate will lead daily scrum, sprint review and planning meetings in a way that ensures full team engagement support.

Responsibilities

• Teach the team and organization to use agile and scrum practices and
  their methodologies.
• Oversee scrum process and coach team; facilitate transparency, inspection and adaptation.
• Remove obstacles (e.g. cultural barriers, logistical challenges) Foster close cooperation with all team members, promoting cross-training and
  supporting each other.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration within and outside the team.
• Protect the team from external interference and
  ensure the team is fully functional and productive.
• Promote self-organization and growth within the team.
• Ability to promote innovative thinking and personal improvement within the team
• Prior developer experience would be ideal.
• Experience with Agile development, preferred as certified Scrum master (or similar role).
• Ability to coach team in agile practices and ensure adherence to agile
  methodology to deliver maximum value.
• Not afraid to do what is best for the team.
• Offers a high level of energy and is passionate about her/his work.
• Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that fosters a comfortable and effective work environment.
