Job brief
The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful execution / implementation of Technology Projects ensuring a coherent, comprehensive approach to the management of changes in order to minimize duplication of efforts and maximize the effectiveness of solutions.
Responsibilities
- Planning the project execution and deployment of large and complex technology infrastructure projects ensuring effective: Timelines, Budget Management, Documentation and Reporting etc.
- Issue and Risk assessment and management
- Adhering to Change Management policy and processes
- Quality assurance; Adherence to Enterprise Architecture standards
- Identifies, defines and implements a tracking mechanism for the benefits of the investment.
- Develops RFIs and RFPs, as required.
- Provides Input to and oversees the solution architecture to
assure alignment with business objectives. - Leads a diverse project team, in multiple locations, with
multiple accountabilities, ensuring that all project deliverables are achieved in a cohesive, timely and cost effective manner. - Identifying coaching and motivational needs, ensuring PPP's are completed in a timely and effective manner and providing coaching, motivational and mentoring to all team members, as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management Studies or any related discipline
- Proven experience as a Project Manager
- Prior Supervisory experience
- Comparable scheduling skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Good ability to train people
