Position Overview:

The Chief Marketing Officer is responsible for leading the organization's overall marketing strategy, brand positioning, customer acquisition, and market growth initiatives. The CMO oversees all marketing functions including brand management, digital marketing, communications, advertising, customer engagement, and market research to drive revenue growth and strengthen the organization's market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.

Strengthen brand positioning, awareness, and reputation across target markets.

Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints.

2. Customer Acquisition & Growth

Drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies.

Develop campaigns to increase market share and revenue growth.

Identify new customer segments and growth opportunities.

3. Digital Marketing & Innovation

Lead digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content strategy.

Optimize digital channels to improve customer engagement and conversion rates.

Leverage marketing technologies, analytics, and automation tools.

4. Market Research & Analytics

Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights initiatives.

Use data analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and customer behavior.

Provide strategic recommendations based on market trends and performance data.

5. Product Marketing & Go-to-Market Strategy

Collaborate with product and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies.

Support product launches and promotional initiatives.

Ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and business priorities.

6. Communications & Public Relations

Oversee corporate communications, media relations, and public relations activities.

Manage crisis communication and reputation management strategies.

Strengthen relationships with media, agencies, and external partners.

7. Budget & Performance Management

Develop and manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI.

Establish KPIs and performance metrics for campaigns and initiatives.

Monitor and report on marketing effectiveness and business impact.

8. Leadership & Team Development

Lead and mentor marketing, communications, and digital teams.

Foster a creative, innovative, and high-performance culture.

Drive continuous development of marketing capabilities and talent.

9. Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with sales, product, operations, customer experience, and executive leadership teams.

Align marketing strategies with overall organizational goals.

Represent the organization at industry events and public engagements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred.

12–15+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or communications leadership roles.

Proven track record of driving brand growth, customer acquisition, and revenue generation.

Strong expertise in digital marketing, analytics, and integrated marketing strategies.
