Responsibilities:

Responsible to develop / evaluate manufacturing processes

Responsible to Investigate and support production and evaluate process failures.

Responsible to assess chemical risk associated with manufacturing processes.

Responsible to Investigate and evaluate production and process failures, including customer reports on service performance.

Determine testing methods and administer process control test procedures

Responsible for demonstrating commitment with respect to the management system, by contributing to the effective implementation, operation and control of its processes.

Having understood the Manufacturing requirements the Industrial Engineer is expected to continue to work closely with all departments to implement efficient manufacturing processes.

It will be incumbent upon the Industrial Engineer to create a concept manufacturing proposal which could including the appropriate technical specification and costs as well as assessing the feasibility of any proposal or changes to current manufacturing processes.

The tests should comply with the latest National and international standards and should demonstrate that the solution proposed meets the technical or manufacturing requirements.

The Industrial Engineer will provide customers with reports detailing the test that has been requested during the PTO or PPAP submission. Also any reports require to support any proposed manufacturing process changes

The Industrial Engineer will ensure that the product is able to be readily manufactured in a timely and cost effective manner by understanding the manufacturing implications of the changes to pre or post moulding processes.

The Industrial Engineer will provide assistance to all other department members and share knowledge of their experience. They shall advise on best polymer, equipment and processing solutions proposed.
