About the job Finance Organizer- Finance Transformation

ROLE

To partner with finance, business, data and technology stakeholders to build, implement and maintain robust finance processes and controls in line with the strategies of diverse Business Units across the value chain of Decathlon Sports India keeping the regulatory and compliance requirements in perspective.

RESPONSIBILITIES

PROCESS MANAGEMENT & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

  • Understand the technology and business operations landscape
  • Understand the regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Frame processes for Finance Operations with guidelines, strategic goals, policies and procedures
  • Own financial process controls and reporting operational effectiveness
  • Lead a culture of continuous improvement in process efficiency and effectiveness in line with tech solutions, business operations, compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Take initiatives to innovate and challenge current processes and bring in efficiencies


FINANCE TRANSFORMATION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Plan and lead new automation projects for Finance
  • Lead transformation, data and technology for Finance function
  • Setup, maintain and improve our financial systems depending on local and group rules
  • Actively build strong relationships with Business Unit, Finance Leadership and extended key stakeholders to drive a change management program.
  • Lead trainings for Finance teams to continuously upskill, transform roles in line with technology penetration and keep up the expertise.



Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: MBA/CA/CMA
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Finance Transformation & Continuous Improvement
  • Strong knowledge of accounting
  • Strong experience in implementing financial process management, systems and project management
  • Team spirit and a strong sense of customer service
  • Energy and curiosity to understand and improve our financial processes
  • Sports passionate
