We're hiring experienced Class A CDL Drivers for a local refrigerated delivery route based in Lynchburg, VA. This position offers daily home time, steady miles, Sundays off, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Drivers deliver refrigerated freight to retail locations using automatic day cab equipment while enjoying a consistent local schedule.

Pay & Compensation

• Average Weekly Earnings: $1,500–$1,600
• Average Annual Earnings: Approximately $83,300
• Mileage Pay: $0.74 CPM
• Stop Pay: $20 per stop
• Average Weekly Miles: Approximately 1,500 miles

Sign-On Bonus

• $3,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • $1,000 after 30 days
  • $1,000 after 60 days
  • $1,000 after 90 days

Additional Pay

• Referral Bonus: $500
• Orientation Pay: $100 per day (3-day orientation)

Home Time & Schedule

• Home Daily
• Monday–Saturday schedule
• Sundays Off
• Dispatch times generally between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver refrigerated products to retail store locations
• Complete 5–15 stops per day
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer
• Assist with unloading as needed (partial driver assist)
• Maintain DOT compliance and accurate logs
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries

Equipment & Freight

• 48-foot reefer trailers
• Automatic transmission day cabs
• Slip-seat operation
• Governed at 68 MPH
• Approximately 300-mile operating radius
• Partial unload assistance required

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience
• Minimum age: 23 years old
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Reefer or dry van experience preferred
• Safe driving record and ability to meet DOT and company hiring standards
• Must be able to perform partial unloads and multi-stop deliveries
