About the job Project Manager (Fire Protection)
The Civi Group is excited to announce a collaboration with a leading Engineering and Construction Services firm to fill a Project Manager position. This role offers an opportunity to be at the forefront of managing a wide array of projects within the Industrial and Commercial sectors, particularly those involving fire protection systems.
Job Title: Project Manager
Project Types: Industrial and Commercial Projects, with an emphasis on Fire Protection Systems
Work Model: Hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days working remotely each week. No long-distance travel is required for this position.
Compensation:
- Salary: Up to approximately $150K based on experience
- Benefits: Includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and the opportunity for performance-based bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Direct and inspire project teams to achieve milestones, fostering collaboration across clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, timelines, and resources, to ensure smooth execution.
- Budget Management: Perform budget analyses and manage costs to keep projects on financial target.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain consistent communication with all project stakeholders, managing expectations and providing regular updates.
- Procurement: Oversee the procurement of materials and services at competitive prices, aligning with project timelines.
- Risk Management: Develop strategies to mitigate risks and address potential issues proactively.
- Compliance: Ensure project compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Familiarity with fire protection and building safety standards is advantageous.
- Internal Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams such as Accounting, Coordination, and Estimating to enhance project efficiency and ensure accuracy.
- Meeting Facilitation: Conduct project meetings to ensure clear communication and actionable outcomes.
- Project Closure: Oversee the project closeout process, ensuring all documentation is complete and client requirements are met.
Skills & Qualification:
- A bachelors degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- At least 4 years of project management experience with exposure to a broad range of construction projects. While not required, experience with fire protection systems is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and leading teams under tight deadlines.
