Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with expertise in AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Cybersecurity to lead and manage critical technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, cloud infrastructure, and security best practices, and will be responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead AWS and Cybersecurity Projects:
- Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects, focusing on AWS cloud solutions and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Manage migration to cloud-based environments (AWS) while ensuring security compliance.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure secure system architecture and implementation.
- Risk & Security Management:
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices and industry standards.
- Oversee the implementation of AWS security features such as IAM, VPC, and encryption.
- Stakeholder & Team Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Ensure clear communication of project timelines, objectives, and risks to stakeholders.
- Project Delivery & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all project milestones are met on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, perform security audits, and ensure project deliverables meet security and performance benchmarks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing IT projects in AWS environments and implementing cybersecurity measures.
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and cloud security practices.
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, etc.) and tools.
- Strong project management experience, including expertise in Agile or Waterfall methodologies (Scrum master certified and PMP certified - Preferred)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security Specialty) preferred.
