POSITION: CT Technologist
JOB TYPE: Full Time
LOCATION: Grande Prairie, Alberta
SALARY/WAGE: $50-65/hour, commensurate with experience
JOB SUMMARY:
The Agency is assisting True Medical Imaging in recruiting a CT Technologist to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform CT examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Interpret requisitions, prepare and assess patientsfor the exam.
- Position patients for imaging and ensure their safety and comfort.
- Monitor patients during scans and ensure images meet quality standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures.
- Maintain clean rooms and equipment, promptly reporting service requirements.
- Provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technology program.
- Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technology (ACMDTT).
- Minimum three (3) years of CT experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Experience in a private diagnostic imaging environment is considered an asset.
