OFFICE ASSOCIATE - Temporary Receptionist

Casual/ Multiple Businesses/ Multiple Locations

Position Summary:

Our Office Associates (Level 1) are trained to provide exceptional support as they greet visitors, answer phone calls, and run errands while maintaining professional composure throughout interactions with customers or potential clients. The Office Associate (Level 1) is the first point of contact for an organization and we know having the right person in place is critical.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors at front desk by greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls
  • Maintain a clean and orderly reception area
  • Entry level clerical support
    • Update calendars and schedule meetings
    • Distribute office mail accordingly
    • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
    • Organize and file company documents either electronically or with a paper filing system
    • Other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
    • Additional clerical duties as required
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and monitoring access via the reception desk
  • Schedule appointments and meetings
  • Preparing meeting and training rooms
  • Provide additional administrative support for team members, if necessary

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Positive attitude and friendly demeaner
  • Proficient on computers
  • Good organization skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects at once
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
