JOB SUMMARY:
The Agency is assisting Resource Centre For Suicide Prevention (RCSP) in the recruitment of a dynamic and strategic Executive Director. The successful candidate will lead the organization in mental health promotion and suicide prevention initiatives within their community. This role presents a unique opportunity to leverage RCSPs strong reputation and recent successes to make a meaningful impact. The Executive Director will report directly to the Board of Directors, overseeing resource management, advocacy efforts, and organizational leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community partners, government agencies, and donors
  • Represent RCSP at events and in media interactions
  • Oversee annual budgeting and daily financial operations
  • Coordinate grant applications and fundraising activities, ensuring compliance with monitoring and reporting requirements
  • Handle all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages excellence, professional development, and accountability
  • Support Board governance with timely information and meeting preparation
  • Maintain and implement the organizations Policy Manual
  • Coordinate strategic planning and implementation of suicide prevention programs
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with best practices
  • Attend relevant training sessions and conferences
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ideal candidates will have a degree in Human Services or Business (social work preferred)
  • Experience in non-profit program development and supervision
  • Proficiency in budget management and grant writing
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Team player with creative problem-solving abilities
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Relevant certifications are an asset

    • Indigenous Canada First Aid
    • Standard First Aid
