About the job Sales Demand Planner
Summary
As a Demand and Inventory Planner, you will forecast demand for core products, promotions, and new arrivals, proactively managing risks and optimizing inventory levels. You'll continually update forecasts, adjust sales forecasts based on market trends, and work collaboratively across teams.
This position will report to the Sales Director.
Address of the Avon facility: 3116 W Ave 32, Los Angeles, CA 90065 - onsite 5 days a week.
Roles & Responsibilities
- With your expertise in demand planning and inventory management, youll be responsible for forecasting future demand for our core items, promotions, seasonal products and new arrivals
- Identify and analyze demand forecast risks, and develop effective mitigation plans to ensure optimal inventory levels and customer satisfaction
- Stay ahead of the curve by regularly planning and updating forecasts for new products, seasonal items, discounts, promotions & new regions
- Make recommended adjustments to the sales forecasts and inventory targets, based on changes in demand and market trends
- Investigating and addressing significant discrepancies between sales and forecasts
- Collaborating with internal teams to review sales and forecasts in comparison to established business plans
