Our client is a leading project management firm based in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Management:
- Conduct thorough cost estimates for construction and infrastructure projects.
- Monitor and manage project budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quantity Takeoff and Measurement:
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and measurements for project materials and resources.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate project specifications.
- Contract Administration:
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
- Evaluate and negotiate variations and change orders.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess project risks related to cost and budget.
- Develop strategies for risk mitigation and cost control.
- Cost Reporting:
- Generate regular cost reports for project stakeholders.
- Provide financial updates and forecasts to project management teams.
- Value Engineering:
- Collaborate with project teams to identify value engineering opportunities.
- Optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional accreditation or membership with a recognized Quantity Surveying institution.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
