Our client is a large hospitality firm based in Dubai and currently hiring an experienced PRO-Emirati National

What will you do?

  • Maintain good relations and visits to the owning company, immigration, DTCM, health department, ministry of information, traffic police as well as all government departments and ministries in Dubai.
  • Attends complex cases at Police Stations, Courts, the Ministry of Labor and other Government Offices on behalf of the Group 
  • Maintains an updated in-depth understanding of government laws, keeping abreast of the changes and advising the investors, whenever appropriate, on the best and right government practices
  • Organize all routine processing of Immigration documents e.g. residence, work permits, medical examination, and visas, to complete all the necessary legal formalities
  • Organize employee services like visa procurement, issue or renewal of passports, amendment of details on passport in order to save employees time and cost to the company
  • Provides assistance on police and court cases, as well as issues related to immigration and labour and other related matters
  • Ensure the safekeeping of all team members passports during issuing and the renewal of residence visas.
  • Ensures that all food handlers are having occupational health cards and track expiring cards to ensure it is renewed on time

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in government relations preferably with engineering clients in Abu Dhabi.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Arabic & English
  • Strong relationship with government departments in UAE including Economic, Immigration, Ministry of Labour, Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.
  • Negotiation skills and advanced interpersonal skills
  • Good computer literacy including knowledge of Windows XP and Microsoft Office of products including Word and ability to deal with local online applications and government systems
  • Must carry a UAE valid driving license
